This year I've been busy!

In January I set

Okay, so I've been buried in school for the past few weeks, running on coffee and sweets and crackers, and haven't had much time (or motivation) to update.

I love Physics. I keep telling myself that in hopes that the ginormous amount of calculus and insane Math that has descended will clear away and make Physics into something I recognise again. The frightening thing? I'm starting to enjoy the Math. (> A <) MY BRAIN IS BEING SCREWED. Then again, with something like Dirac's Delta function, the Math in Physics ain't Math, but SCREWEDUPMATH. (Deshyo, Sa-chan?)

Linguistics is also kinda fun, as is Samurai and Geisha, and I figure the fundamental difference (which I should have noticed earier dammit) between my excelling in Physics and my excelling in Arts is that in Arts, I don't study and go with my gut feel; but in Physics, I mug like mad along with the lecturer.

I SHOULD HAVE GONE TO ARTS DAMMIT.

Oh man oh man oh man, school's starting tommorow.

It feels so... unreal. I've gotten too used to the 24/7 slacking of the three months hols and I feel so damm UNPREPARED to go back. Last year there was, at least the transition through matric fair and orientation; this year, it's PLOP! Hey, school's starting.

GYARGH. I feel alternately excited and terrified about going back, about maintaining my CAP, about learning new things. I'm looking forward to my Arts modules, and of course my core mods, Physics. I just looked through the lecture notes of one of the modules. It was full of MATH. And then it hit me. I'm going to go through THREE MORE FRIGGING YEARS OF THIS! I see why most Physics profs have white hair. Still, I'm really excited to begin learning.

Whut. I cannot believe I'm actually eager to get down to mugging. Calculus, what's more. BUTOHGODEXAMS.

(Geh, I really need to get myself in gear to update regularly, and not just when people poke me to. >__< Hahahaha, anyways big shoutout to cherylandrea, at whose prompting this post is written in reponse to :PP) Well, 5 weeks-ish of holidays have passed, and I have spent that time doing practically NOTHING. Except like, watching anime. And meeting up with my friends. And Driving. And getting Uni results. And uh, writing a little. And reading lots of PG Wodehouse. And recently, doing Sudoku. And oh of course! Going back to lovely FAIRFIELD to teach tuition for a week. :DD Since I'm not going to give a blow by blow of those activities, I'll just make it a review! Driving Rant

Hmmm, not much to report today other than a splitting migrane-ish headache that caused me to lose all sense of judgment in the middle of driving. Finally passed subject 5.01, though, which is the final stage. (But only cause my instructor was being nice. I don't think I deserved to pass heehee.)

Urgh. I hate driving, seriously, it feels like such a waste of time and it just takes so much concentration that even a mild headache would be distraction. Blind spots; turning points; is it safe to go; turn here turn there...It is SUCH a pain in the ass. Especially when some idiotic drivers on the road who think they are some big shots honk at you, cut dangerously in front of you, refuse to let you pass, and in general, try and say "HAHA I HAVE PASSED YOU HAVE NOT SO I CAN BULLY YOU AHAHAHAHAHA."

Asses.

So, hmm, in the 2 days of vacation I've had, I've marathoned the full Shakugan no Shana series in two days. A very cool concept and well sustained plotlines, and nice big booming explosions. Heh.

Whoa, been a long time since I last properly blogged! Well my exams have ended. (YAY!) Math was the only paper I was depressed about... Electrical and Modern Physics were do-able, if not easy, Japanese Studies was okay but in any case I can S/U it. English... well let's just say I walked out of the exam hall early, to the glares of the other candidates. So.. yeah, the only one I'm worried about is Math-- I just want a pass for that module, but I don't know if I can... sigh In other news, I have gone out and gotten Tieria's haircut. That is, as close to it as I could get without dyeing my hair purple and showing my hairdreser a picture of Tchan and saying "i want this hairstyle!"- which is to say, a fringe and a concave-layered-shoulder-length style. I've had my old hairstyle for so long (since Sec 1!) that I'm really not used to the fringe falling into my eyes now. Heh. I kept messing around with my fringe in my mirror until my mom laughed at me. Also, I just realised cutting my hair in the middle of hot season so it's too short to tie up= really bad idea. Oh wells, nothing I can do about now hahaha. But I rather like my new fringe. It's movable, stylable and rather fun to play with. I bunched some locks up into parts, anime-style, and added Jovi's Suzumiya ribbon for kicks. Then I parted it Tchan-style and made faces in the mirror. Yeah. My brain is so going to survive the vacation. Speaking of vacations, I'm putting up the dates I'm not free so that if people (ie Jovi, Gabby Xing Yee, Sandar etc) want to drag me out, they can refer to it easily! Also, it'll be real helpful if you reply to this post with YOUR schedule so I can drag YOU out ^^ (P.S shinigami39, you can drag me out too hee hee.)
